December Everyday Randomness Part 3: Family Christmas Edition

Whew! It's February and I'm still posting about Christmas!

G Christmas

Klint and I went-festive to my family's Christmas

So did a couple others!

Twins

Time to eat!

Stair-step boys

Felix (age 3), Gil (age 6), Ivan (age 8), Whitt (age 9)

Gift time!

Baby Santa

My dad gifted me his letter jacket from the 70's, yay!!
(I couldn't understand why I was the only one who got a gift specifically from dad...until I opened it!)

Group gift from Grandpa and Grandma were some fun (personalized) water bottles!

BINGO for the kids is always a hit

Mom tried something different for the adults  -- it was so fun!

Ross & Leah's fam spent the night at our house, which is always so fun!

the

hand off

kids and posed photos

a little better!

Off to church!

F. Christmas

Look at all those cuties!

Gil's new toy was a huge temptation for poor Braxton!

Made me smile when I came across this picture and saw Gil's hand keeping Braxton at bay while stopping for a quick smile!

It was really fun to have Shelbie and her sweet kiddos join us!

So cute!

Otto got his usual coins (wrapped in a huge box)

We stowed Emitt away in the back storage room so he could put together his new LEGO set without interference from the youngest among us 😉

Christmas with Viktoriia's Family

We tried Gingerbread houses again!
Sylvia is always really curious about anything different that comes through the house

Whitt helped me organize all the candy

I saved the extra candy this year so it will cut back on cost next year🙃

Love watching them go!

That same evening we had our Christmas meal (Vika provided the meat, bread, and salad!) with my parents and Klint's parents. Such a fun evening!

Viktoriia's family and our family did a gift exchange

Gil went to Dollar Tree again and picked out gifts for every person (even Sylvia....who was less than thrilled).

This activity always brings laughs because ...let's just say Gil doesn't put in a lot of thought to these gifts

Dad F received some fake fall foliage.

Gil pulled it off the shelf when we were shopping and told me, "Grandpa F. LOVES leaves" 😂

Grateful to be celebrating another Christmas with Viktoriia's family -- God has worked a lot of healing and growth (for all of us!) this past year.

We did a vote on Instagram

Gil's

Yaro's

Emitt's
(the winner!)

Violetta's

Whitt's

Otto's

Small Family Christmas

Our family's Christmas was on Christmas Day!

Bringing over the gifts :)

Emitt got a phone!

Fun aerial shot by Otto

We got Sylvia a fountain for Christmas because she doesn't drink water from her water dish and would prefer knocking over our water glasses (when we aren't looking because she isn't allowed on the table or countertops).

It's the cutest little fresh water fountain and we set it up in one of our bathrooms. However, she mutilated it (twice!) and we woke up to fountain pieces scattered across our sanctuary floor.

Why do cats always do the exact opposite of what you want??

Thankfully it was only $20 so we re-gifted it to Viktoriia's cat ☺️

This was so fun! I miss Christmas already. LOL! Braeya went through a phase where she would only drink out of the sink and another when she would only drink out of the shower. It was all very odd. Now she sleeps beside her bowl so all she has to do is wake up and stick her head in it. LOL! I'm sorry Sylvia sabotaged her own gift! - Bekah
