THESE guys...

and this...

We participated in 2 excursions:

Well, Klint and I are headed to the Sunny South today! If you can't sleep tonight, send up a little prayer for safe travels!

Forest fires to extinguish...

Hey, at least he gets it honest! According Klint's parents, little-jumping-Klint BROKE his crib from this very act!
If we try to sell you Emitt's crib...don't do it! When he's finished, it won't be safety-approved!
Grandpa Alvin would be ashamed.

Ready for party pics?
Andy & Jenna...

It was bound to happen sometime...

Spooky decor...

Have a great Monday!!
Well, Michael & Jane's Costume Party is coming up this weekend and we are very excited for this annual event! Props to Jane - she even has a newborn!

There you have it!
(Although, Klint, I was pretty impressed with that "group pic"!)
Gotta love it!
By the end of the week, the Prayer Jar must be empty!

and waiting...
So great to have them HOME!

There's a wedding coming soon!! Congrats Ryan & Jamy!!!
4. What's up with this kid waking at 6:00am?! I am having a hard time smiling at him today.
5. The "jury's still out" on whether that black ink will wash out of my couch cushions. I have YET to hear from the Dry Cleaners....hmmm, it's been over a week...maybe a bad sign?
(Okay, so maybe he was just ticked at me for other reasons.)
6. The highlight of Emitt's day: when 'Uncle' Jesse calls!
Okay, I'll tell you. Oh, they're just taking a train from Tuscany to Florence. You know, just an everyday occurrence. Kinda like me driving The Blue Streak from my house to Walmart.
We miss you! That 7 minutes and 49 seconds on the phone yesterday was NOT long enough :(
Happy Tuesday!!

It was such a blessing that Grandma could make it! She was a great sport (as always!)
Aunt Booxy with Aria. Awwww....

No comment. ;)

I DID consume quite a few of these while pregnant with him.
Jesse's favorite weekend hang-out is our local Gospel Barn. Yep, live Southern Gospel music every Saturday night!.jpg)

Dancing and eating at the same time. Not bad...
My personal favorite part of the night...too cute!
The evening ended with a strong patriotic song - perfect for Veteran Jesse. As we stood to sing, Jesse looked quite emotional - I even had to hold back the tears. God Bless America!
An enjoyable evening!
Happy Birthday, Jess!
So, what's normal?

I even got in on the fun. Surprised, aren't you?

Since Javon is moving in a week or so, that leaves Krystal & me. So, we decided to call it quits.

Thanks, gals, it's been a great 6 years! Love you!

This year, we decided to go to the Children's Museum. We about drowned in the Flash Flood we drove through (talk about a scary combo: flash flood & a directionally challenged driver) However, we made it safely (thanks, Lord!) and had a great day!

Thanks to my dad for the GPS & car (so glad I didn't ruin it by driving though all that water). Thanks to my mom for babysitting Emitt!

Yes, even Popo The Hippo & Mr. Stripey got to ride in it.
Good news: we're camera shopping tonight!

Who needs a camera when I have my old journals? Check out this entry from February 5, 1998 (I was 13 years old)...
